So are you ready to go shopping for food and this time you are wondering what is the best shopping list of the most nutritious food which will improve my health and perhaps improve my goal of fat loss or muscle gain.
Vegetables / Carbs: Squash, broccoli, spinach, eggplant, cauliflower, carrots, asparagus, mushrooms, lettuce, leafy green everything, Brussels sprouts, peppers, sweet potatoes or yams, oatmeal.
Fruits: Blueberries is a must number 1, all other berries, apples, peaches, plums, apricots, red grapes. almost every fruit.
Protein: Fatty fish like wild Alaskan red salmon, boneless skinless chicken breasts, tuna, lean red meat, eggs, free range meats, and other lean meat. Also protein power like whey protein should be considered even more so for athletes and physical working people.
Fats: Wild Alaskan red salmon, tuna, other fatty fish, walnuts, natural peanut butter, olive oil.
Supplements: Fish oil, flax seed oil, whey protein powder, are the only necessary ones.
Alcohol: The only alcohol that should be considered is Red Wine, and only one glass a day for it's high level of antioxidants.
And it's that simple, go shopping with this new shopping list full of healthy fat loss foods, and your health will surely improve, and depending if you want to gain muscle, or lose fat, that should improve speed up as well.
So what does a Unhealthy Shopping list look like which may make you fat and unhealthy?
Processed foods bought at most grocery stores: Chips, cookies, snacks, fruit snacks, doenuts, candy, roasted nuts, white bread, white pasta, anything with white flour or breading. Soft drinks with sugar as well as all fruit drinks and juices are also pretty bad for your health.
Any trans fats from shortening, snacks, fake cheese products ect is horrible for you and may lead to clogging if your arteries. These fatty oils are on the label listed as "partially hydrogenated vegetable oil" aka trans fats. Remember to read the ingredients label.
Hot dogs, sausage, fatty red meat and dark chicken meat are also a unhealthy choice. White potatoes aren't the best, and all fast food should be avoided as well as most if not all fried foods.
