How do I change My Life

How Do I change my life? is the question many people ask when they feel the path they are on now has put them self astray and wish to make a change for better in their own life.

The question is very powerful because it's similar to another question "How Do you change your life?", in that the I question takes more owner ship of your self by using the key phrase my life. If you study about the human ego, you will understand there is no separation between the words I and MY. Both are you and there is only 1 you. However over the years language has tricked us into believing there is more than one of you.

When you ask the question how do I change my life, the first phrase you should pay attention to is how do I. You are referring to your self in the first person, the state you are in now, which is probably a lesser state than you wish, because you want to change for the better.

The second part of the question is the phrase My Life. This part of the question is the best to pay attention to. Because you are now taking ownership over your life. In life when we use the word my followed by an object like,

  • My Car
  • My house
  • My Body
  • My mind

we are taking owner ship over these objects. These objects are mine and I can do what I wish with them. What you must understand however is your life has always been yours, and the reason you are asking How do I change my life, is because you have chosen to lead you life in that bad direction.

There is no separation between the word I, my life, or you. Everything is one, and exactly who you are. If you are not exactly who you want to be then you must start making the right choices to get you where you want to be. It's simply that easy. The problem however is past learned behavior can make things become uncomfortable while you are changing.

Your ego and mind are used to who you were, parts of it still think that's who you are, who you want to be, and you become frustrated when you struggle with change.

The key to conquering this struggle is realize those thoughts aren't really you. They are part of your ego and who you think you are, and they are not what you really are. They are just thoughts and ideas. Some thoughts and ideas are smart, correct, and right, while others are wrong, bad, and evil. If you start having thoughts tell you that you are a loser, failure, unhealthy, fat, will not change, ect.

Don't consider them who you are, consider them bad thoughts. The best approach to change is believing you can change, and seeing your self as that changed person, and then as time passes your ego and mind will get used to the new you and you will feel comfortable again.

So the keys to changing your life are,

  • There is no separation between I and My
  • Make the right intelligent choices towards a positive life style
  • practice a can do Attitude
  • believe that you can, that you will, and that you are

Once you start believing in your positive self, and start believing you are a healthy positive person, then thats who you start to become. No tricks or gimmicks here, simple logic.

A little patience, hard work, and time is all that is required when making this change. Keep your self motivated and in no time at all you will become who you want to become, that strong positive person who has changed them self for the better.
