I put a lot of thought into the first person I would list in the important people section of my web site. I went on and on trying to figure out who is the most important person on the planet, and then thought some more if I should label that person as such.

So after a lot of thought, you are the first important person in the important people section.

The logic behind my madness is simple. Only you have control over what you choose to do in this world. There may be millions of others who have done more positive things for this world than you, but the fact remains you have no control over those people, you only have control over your self and what you choose to do.

This is important because you have the choice to spend X amount of time in your life being the most important person. The person that volunteers, gives to charity, helps the homeless, fights for our freedom, and any other noble cause.

In reality, you have almost total control over your self and what you do with your life. Outside of that you have the ability to be a huge influence on the lives of billions of people you share the earth with. If you have studied my helping others to help your self book, you will see an example how a domino chain reaction effect can occur in this world, just by you being positive, friendly, and helpful to the people you interact with everyday in your life.

If you only interact with 10-100 people a day, you might feel that isn't a lot, but they in turn interact with the same number, and after a few multiplications we are in the millions and billions of people you can influence in just 1 days time.

This kind of scientific karma is real, and happens everyday.

There are many notable lists on the internet full of important people. Most popular of course is Time Magazines The World's Most Influential People - The 2008 TIME 100, and PC Worlds PC World - The 50 Most Important People on the Web for you technology nuts. These lists are full of all the regulars, Albert Einstein, Ophra Winfrey, Apple CEO Steve Jobs, and the Google founders Larry Page, and Sergey Brin. But someone felt missing, you of course.

So as my very first important person in the important people category on this website, I choose you the reader. The most important person of them all. You have the ability, power, and most importantly choice of how you spend your life. There are many noble causes to study and spend your time on. My question to you is.

How will you make this world a better place? - Think about the question, and if you think hard enough you will find examples how what ever you have done, do, or plan to do will have a huge effect on the rest of the world.
